In 1979, a group of young women formed a football team that was both cross-border and cross-religion. While politicians and community leaders struggled to build bridges, these girls let the beautiful game create a world of friendship and acceptance. A world where they all belonged.
“Crossing Lines” is the story of these young women, directed by Margaret Gordon, who is also a stalwart Finn Harps volunteer. The short film will feature in the Northern Ireland Screen’s Digital Film Archive | Reel Lives event at the Nerve Centre in Derry on April 13th.
