Preview: Finn Harps v Cork City

Finn Harps take on Cork City on Friday night with both sides looking to build momentum after wins over Kerry FC and Longford Town FC in their respective season openers. Kick-off at Finn Park is 7.45pm.

Harps Manager Darren Murphy said: “When you look back down the years of League of Ireland football, this is a really tasty fixture to start our home league campaign.  They had a great win last week in front of a fantastic attendance of over five thousand people.  That’s a superb number of people to watch a game in the First Division and shows the size of club they are.

We’re hoping for a very entertaining game here this evening and look forward to playing in front of our home support. We showed great character and resilience in Longford last weekend and hopefully we can carry that momentum forward now and get another positive result.”
Injuries: Kevin Jordan, Ryan Rainey, Aaron McLaughlin, Conor Tourish
Doubtful: Sean O’Donnell, Matty Makinson
