Getting There:
Fan bus down to Longford on Friday!! Leaving Letterkenny (Dry Arch) 3pm, Finn Park 3:20pm. Cost €20/25 per person (numbers depending) PM me to book a space on the bus or text 0860686016! Names to be in by Wednesday at 6pm.
Driving / Parking:
The ground is just off the N5 to a few km to the east of Longford itself. From the North it’s probably handiest to follow the N4 from Sligo until the junction with the N5 just outside the town. From Dublin follow the N4 to Longford. There is a large car park at the ground which is free.
Public Transport
Getting to Longford from Donegal by public transport is not straightforward and there seems to be no way to do it on the night except maybe via Dublin Airport. Also the ground is well out of town so a taxi is probably the best bet before the game. Someone is bound to be sound and drop you back there afterwards though.
Bus Eireann serves Longford on Route 22 and 23 and there are 02:32 and 02:59 services back to Dublin. See HERE and HERE
Irish Rail serves Longford from Connolly Station in Dublin but services do not run late enough to return on the night. See HERE
Before the game:
Fans have previously visited Keenan’s Hotel which is a five minute drive West of the ground on the N5. We are reliably informed they have Kinnegar on tap.
In the Ground:
Harps fans will be directed to the away section on the side opposite the main stand but will have no issue accessing shop, toilets etc. (cash only facilities for shop/ clubhouse).
Harps fans are asked to congregate together and get right behind the team!
