Harps To Support “In My Shoes” This Weekend

Finn Harps are asking fans to support the In My Shoes charity this weekend and bring their preloved shoes for donation to the townships of Southern Africa.  Fans will have a chance to meet and greet the Harps squad at Finn Park from 1-3pm on Saturday as they bring their spare sports shoes to Finn Park for donation.  Supporters can also drop donations at the game on Friday night against Longford Town and at the Athlone Town game on Bank Holiday Monday.  Kick off at Finn Park is at 8PM for both games.

Who are In My Shoes?

In 2020, pre-covid, with a Sligo based pilot campaign, In My Shoes shipped 15,000 pairs of donated preloved kids sports shoes from Ireland to the townships of Southern Africa.  We are awaiting charity approval in Ireland, and have recently secured our charity status in the UK (charity reg no. 1202189).

What are we asking you to do?

Finn Harps have come on board to assist In My Shoes this month in a collection drive to gather donations of shoes from children at Finn Park.

Between 1 and 3pm on Saturday 29th April, families can drop off used but in good condition runners and football boots in a Meet & Greet with a number of the Finn Harps players.

Bring your used but still usable sports shoes to Finn Park and give them a new life!
