Getting There:

FarAwayOMeter: Almost a derby

There is potentially a bus to this one- contact the 54 Crew if interested HERE

Driving / Parking:

As per the Football Ground Guide website (with slight modification to account for removal of roundabout):

Follow the M6 from Athlone to Junction 19 where the road becomes the N6. Continue past the R336/N17 Junction on the north outskirts of the city and turn right on the N84, then first left, passing by the Menlo Park Hotel. At the end of the road turn left into Dyke Road. The ground is on the left hand side, with a narrow driveway leading to the club car park.

Note if coming from the city side to the ground along the Dyke Road, there is a height restriction of 2.28m as it passes under N6 so buses cannot use this route.

Car Parking

There is a car park at the ground which is free – but this usually fills up and is closed well ahead of kickoff.

Otherwise parking is on the roads and in housing estates near the ground or in the car park near the Black Box Theatre (paid, daily rate).

Public Transport

Feda O Donnell Services are a possibility due to the Bank Holiday Monday and 5pm kick off.  The 9am service from Letterkenny and return service at 8pm could work.  Check full timetables for full detail HERE

Bus Eireann does not have return services late enough to be useful.

From Dublin Citylink are a good option as there is a 20:15 service back to the City Centre.  Timetables HERE

Irish Rail is also an option but the 19:20 service to Dublin may require a speedy trip from the ground to the station.  See HERE

Before the game:

Best bet for a pint is in the bars around Wood Quay area- there are none particularity close to the ground.  There is a bar under the main stand in the ground, if your vibes are cool maybe you get in there.

In the Ground:

Harps fans should congregate together in the old stand and get right behind the team!
