Flag Bearers for Harps v Athlone Town: Curragh Athletic U12s
The Curragh under 10’s took part in a cross border peace project in 2021, an Under 12’s tournament. There were 12 teams taking part, between Donegal and Northern Ireland. Top of the Hill from Derry won the trophy outright while Curragh Athletic, against some older stronger teams, went on to win the Shield final against a strong Sion Swifts. This wee team stayed together since, and now are going to represent Curragh under 11’s in this year’s Foyle Cup in July 2023. This is the first time an underage Curragh team played in a Foyle Cup. A lot of memories are going be made through football and the Foyle Cup. Curragh Athletic Under 12s are proud to lead and cheer Finn Harps out on Bank Holiday Monday the game against Athlone!
Mascots:
Brothers Kyle and Callum Brooks-Crawford are the main men leading the Harps team out v Athlone Town on Monday evening. Big brother Kyle has done mascot honours before and will be bringing the experience but Callum is looking forward to making a confident debut!
