Club invites applications for Secretary, Treasurer and HR roles

Finn Harps FC are inviting applications for the roles of Secretary, Treasurer and HR  on the club’s board of directors.

Current secretary Rory White is transitioning to a new footballing role on the board, resulting in a vacancy at the position. Applicants for the position of club secretary will ideally have a background in administration. Experience of working with governance & regulations preferable but not compulsory.

Applicants for the position of treasurer must be a qualified accountant.

Both secretary and treasurer positions will be supported by office staff.

The club is also seeking to recruit a person with experience in Human Resources for a new position on the board. This role will look at improving club structures and policies, as well as elements of player liaison.

The board of directors wishes to acknowledge the contributions of Barry Patton, who recently stepped down from his role owing to work commitments.

An AGM will take place at the end of February with board elections to take place then. All members can vote in board elections and on any valid motions put forward for the meeting. The current board can co-opt new members in the meantime. Further detail on the AGM will be shared in due course.
