Our MU20s finished off their Phase 1 with an impressive derby win over Derry City at a sunny Finn Park on Saturday evening. A brace of goals from Shaunie Bradley clinched the 3 points for Harps. Adam McDaid claimed the POTM after a faultless performance in the Harps’ midfield.
MU17
Our MU17s wrapped up Phase 1 with a comfortable 2-0 win over Derry City in the Ryan McBride Brandywell on Sunday. 1st half goals from Guilherme Tavares & Declan Patton was enough to take the win. Ronan Buchanan earned the POTM while Corey Sheridan kept a deserved clean sheet.
MU15
Our MU15s lost out in a thrilling North West derby at in Killygordon on Saturday. Having gone 3 goals behind a stellar fightback from the side with goals from Temple Akpo, Josh O’Donnell and Charlie Bonner saw Harps draw level only for the away side to claim a last gasp winner.
MU14
Our MU14s played out an epic eight goal game at the Vale Centre on Sunday. Josh O’Donnell hit a hattrick while the midfield pairing of Oscar Doherty and Jamie O’Donnell chipped in with excellent strikes. Ethan Buchanan led from the front while Jayme Lafferty claimed POTM.
WU17
Our WU17s finished off their 1st Phase in style as they beat Longford Town on Saturday. Sarah Mulvaney Kelly came away with a well taken hat trick while Cliodhna Kelly also found the net. Both keepers kept a clean sheet, with Claragh Gallagher & Hannah Goudie sharing the POTM.
WU19
Harps WU19s were in rampant form at Corry Park where they faced Sligo Rovers. Mary Anne Ward fired Harps in front after just 3 minutes, with Sligo equalising on 11. An OG put Harps back in front before the break and in the second half Harps added 4 more goals from Ward again, Orlaith Doherty with 2 and Ella McHugh to run out 6-1 winners.
