Finn Harps are back in Ballybofey this weekend as Cobh Ramblers come to town for the first time since 2018. Kick-off at Finn Park is 8pm and the game is live on loitv.ie
Harps will be hoping to maintain their three match unbeaten run and build off their first victory of the campaign in Longford last time out.
Dave Rogers told club media: “Training as always has been bright, energetic and full of enthusiasm and we once again are under no illusions on the threat that Cobh Ramblers FC will pose us and therefore we must be at our best if we want to come away with a positive result.
Our attacking play in the final third showed signs of improvement last week away to Longford Town though this is still an area in which we know we must become more ruthless and aggressive especially as we want to create and score more goals in open play.
Myself and the staff can not fault the effort and application of our players and with the Finn Park faithful behind us as you do constantly and consistently each week it is our aim and objective to continue to show you all how proud we are of our club and to share magic moments with you all.
As always we will go into this match on the front foot, playing with positivity and trying to win so once again I thank you for your support and loyalty and your commitment and dedication in cheering on myself and our staff though more importantly your belief and support for our young and ever growing players”
In team news, Harps will be without Daithi McCallion who is on international duty with the Northern Ireland U19s. Keith Cowan is unlikely to feature after re-aggravating a hamstring injury last weekend.
