Driving / Parking :
The ground is just south of the main M6 / N6 motorway that passes through Athlone. Leave at Junction 10 and turn towards the town centre. At the roundabout turn left and the ground is on that road on the right hand side with plenty of parking outside.
Public Transport
To get there from Donegal you can go to Galway or Dublin and seek connecting services, but without an overnight stay there is no easy way to do this.
From Dublin or Galway there are plenty of options for getting there including Irish Rail and Citylink. Getting back is harder- there is a 22:07 train to Dublin but this may be cutting it fine, while Citylink departures finish too early to get back to Dublin (unless you are willing to wait until 2:30) after the game but there are late services to Galway. Aircoach no longer serve this route having been an option previously.
Before the game:
The nearest pub to the ground is the Olive Bar, just off the roundabout mentioned above. It is 1km from the ground so make sure to leave on time!
In the Ground:
There is one main stand in the ground, Harps fans should congregate towards the end furthest from the entrance gate and make plenty of noise!
Tea, Coffee and Snacks can be purchased at the stadium at as well as food such as Hot Dogs and Burgers.
